After an incredible weekend in Misano, starting with the first time jumping in the car on Thursday to do the adjustments to start the season off. On Thursday it was still just a dream to win the Ferrari Challenge on my first race but we made it happen! During the free practices I began learning the car and felt very comfortable just after a few laps on track. We still were lacking pace but managed to maintain 4th position in both qualifyings.
During the first race drive-through penalties were a major issue for the whole grid including me who got penalized with 8 drive-through penalties dropping me back from P4 to P21. In the second race however, everyone was more careful about track limits, and I managed to climb to P2 by the end of the second race. Later due to an illegal part on the first car I was promoted to the top step of the podium winning the first race weekend in Ferrari Challenge. I am very proud and the whole team did everything they could to get us to the top step. I would like to thank everyone who supported me and my sponsor Ferrari Budapest.
